I have listed a few common questions. If anything you want to know isn’t listed please don’t hesitate to ask.
What do I need to supply before you come to my home?
I supply everything needed except your favourite shampoos for whichever service you decide. I bring towels, capes, products, hairdryer, mirrors etc.
All I will need is a chair and a table or work surface.
Which room is best for the service?
A kitchen or anywhere with a table/ worktop and one plug socket ( I bring an extension lead in case of need) preferably a hard floor surface so hair can be swept away easily.
Haircuts: If it is our first meeting, I prefer to see your hair in its natural dry state so we can chat and I can understand your needs or concerns.
For further appointments please wash as close as possible before the cut, please shampoo and condition hair as normal.
What areas do you cover, do you charge for travel?
I cover Oxford and surrounding areas, there is no travel charge for anywhere within a three mile radius of Oxford city centre, I charge a fee of 50p a mile for visits beyond this zone although for group bookings of two or more this fee does not apply within reasonable distance.
What hours do you work, do you work evenings or weekends?
I work Monday to Friday 9-7pm (with exceptions for Saturday wedding bookings)
Do you cut childrens hair?
Yes, if the child is comfortable and not distressed or scared.
How much notice do I need to give for booking?
I recommend at least two weeks in advance although sooner will be more preferable, last minute bookings are also available sometimes due to cancellations.
If you need to cancel or reschedule, please let me know as soon as possible so I can book in another client.
